Our 17th Edition course is suitable for anyone in need of a working knowledge of BS7671 17th Edition wiring regulations.
Each candidate will follow their own personal learning programme to ensure they understand what is involved for some of the installation parts. In addition they will do a certain amount of Health and Safety requirements and follow this with testing of their installation.
On completion of the 17th Edition course individuals will be conversant with the format, content and the application of the Requirements for Electrical Installations BS7671: 2008 (17th Edition).
There are no formal entry requirements for candidates undertaking this 17th Edition qualification. However, it is expected that candidates will have basic knowledge of electrical science.

The City & Guilds exam is 'open book', this means that during the two hour exam you will be able to refer to the 17th edition book.
In the unfortunate event that you should fail the City & Guilds 17th Edition exam then you will be offered the opportunity of a re-sit.
