6 Week Electrician Training Course

Who is this electrician training course for?

This electrician training course is designed for new entrants into the electrical industry. This electrical training course covers domestic electrical installation, maintenance and fault finding, incorporating both practical and theory training.

Each candidate will follow their own personal learning programme to ensure they understand what is involved for some of the installation parts. In addition they will do a certain amount of Health and Safety requirements and follow this with testing of their installation.

What's included in the electrician training course cost?

1. JIB/ECS/HEA(cscs) health and safety programme and online assessment
2. EAL Part P
3. Three weeks practical workshop erecting, inspecting, testing and certifying simulated domestic installations
4. City & Guilds 2382-12 Requirements for Electrical Installation of Buildings (three day course)
5. City & Guilds 2393-10 Building Regulations for electrical installations in dwellings (one day course)
6. City & Guilds 2392-10 Fundamental Inspection and Testing (three day course)

Once completed candidates would ideally gain further practical experience and consider Part P Domestic Electrical Installer Registration with either ELECSA, NICEIC or NAPIT in order to carry out and certificate domestic electrical installations.

The six week period can be a block period, six staggered one week periods or any other arrangement to suit the individual.
